Fortune telling
Clairvoyance, tarot reading, and traditional Chinese fortune telling methods have all been used to direct narratives and manipulate opinion.
During 813, a young female tarot reader posted a video on Bilibili using tarot cards to determine that Zhang Zhehan is a spy. The video received over 25,000 views. After this incident was brought to light on January 2, 2022, the uploader's Bilibili account was locked and she posted an apology on her Weibo account, but she continued to use Zhang's name in a slur for traitor.

In the aftermath of emotional trauma, many people turn to the paranormal for comfort. When it became apparent that Zhang Zhehan fandom had stayed largely intact after August, CAPA took full advantage of this. A key leader in the fortune telling domain is Ms. Jiang, Weibo name 妙啊啊, who has been working with Sophie since at least August 2021. She is the legal representative of a psychic consulting company that runs 星译社ATS, an astrology account that all of Sanke's various personas and Lao Ahyi followed. Last year, she "predicted" that an important event would happen in March 2022 (when the ZSJ IG went public and the EHzZ brand was announced).
Another psychic is 军来 who posts her predictions on Bilibili, where they get ported to Zhihu. 军来 positions herself as a JunZhe fan. She accurately "predicted" events like Zhang Zhehan's friends betraying him and people trying to break his CP with Gong Jun. Her correct "predictions" helped her spread defamation against Zhang Zhehan's mother, whom she claims is crazy. She maintains that Zhang is cooperating with Xie Yihua and that his parents and Gong's parents are fighting against each other. She is actively insulting toward Zhang's mother. She is supported by a network of smaller fortune telling accounts who write inventive stories about Zhang's private life.
