On Sept 26, 2022, a relatively unknown account on Twitter posted an email from an unnamed organization that they wrote to about Zhang Zhehan. On Nov 1, 2022, they tweeted about this email again, specifying that they received a reply within 20 hours. When news of the ZSJ Shanghai Theatre Academy Sighting broke out on Nov 26, they reposted a screencap of the same email, revealing that it came from STA.

This email was rapidly ported onto Weibo and spread widely among ZSJ fans.

The censored sender name and the visible email address both match with Shirley Zou's contact information on the STA website.

Shirley operates a Weibo account with uid https://weibo.com/u/5016975369 and the same username as her other listed email on STA website. This account is a staunch Zhang Sanjian supporter and follows almost all the accounts in the "righteous bystanders" and "fans" list of the Character Map. Her Likes include the post that ported onto Weibo from Twitter the email she wrote.

In February 2022, Shirley submitted a poem to a fan poetry anthology dedicated to Zhang Sanjian. It was subsequently included in the second book of the anthology.
